La data cerchiata in rosso è quella della notte tra domenica 15 e lunedì 16 marzo. In quelle ore Hollywood diventerà il centro del mondo quando, dopo un anno di attesa, verranno consegnati i Premi Oscar a coloro che più degli altri, nel 2026, si sono saputi destreggiare nel mondo della cinematografia. Ogni categoria prevede un riconoscimento. Alcuni saranno singoli, altri collettivi, con i più ambiti che possono essere indicati sempre con gli stessi: i migliori attori, o attrici, protagonisti, il miglior film e, ovviamente, il miglior regista. Quest’ultimo sarà il premio che andrà a colui che si è rivelato il migliore nell’ultimo anno nella produzione di una pellicola.

Chi vincerà l’Oscar alla regia?

In questo senso, già da giorni è iniziato un acceso dibattito riguardo ai potenziali vincitori del premio di miglior regista e, quindi, di colui che andrà a raccogliere l’eredità lasciata da Sean Beker che lo scorso anno è riuscito a vincere grazie al film Anora. In tal senso i candidati saranno: Paul Thomas Anderson per Una battaglia dopo l’altra, Ryan Coogler per I peccatori, Josh Safdie per Marty Supreme, Joachim Trier per Sentimental Value e Chloé Zhao per Hamnet – Nel nome del figlio. Cinque nomi che ambiscono a entrare nella storia, nell’albo di quei registi che prima di loro sono riusciti a vincere il tanto ambito Premio Oscar.
